The Wallace home is a charming little 1860′s school house that sits on the Hoover Dam with a glorious view of the water.

The Wallace’s wanted to double the size of their home. During the 1960′s 2 bedrooms and a bath were added to the top of the home, but the stairs are steep and getting harder for them to climb. They love their location so much that they decided to add on a first floor master bedroom and bath to meet their needs as they age.

Justin designed a wonderful addition that captures the beautiful view of their lot while making the home handicap-accessible as well. He designed an open floor plan that can accommodate wheelchairs and a basement for live-in help should the need ever arise. He also added a first floor laundry and a large attic for an office and storage. All this while keeping the space beautiful and true the integrity of the 1860′s home.

The Wallace home will be on the NARI Home Tour this October 2 & 3 2010. More information to come on the tour soon!
